At Fine Grit Studio, every piece begins with intention — a vision shaped by hands that honour the craft.
Founded in 2014 by Khairul Asyraf, a mechanical engineer with a heart for design and innovation, our studio has grown into a close-knit team of six, each bringing their own depth of knowledge in industrial design and furniture technology. Together, we work out of our workshop in Pusat Perindustrian Sungai Chua, where sawdust and sketches meet in quiet harmony.
We craft custom furniture, built-ins, and one-of-a-kind products — thoughtfully designed and made to last. Our materials are sourced locally wherever possible: solid wood with rich grain, honest metal, and timeless glass. These aren’t just raw materials to us — they are the beginning of a story, shaped with care for the homes, spaces, and lives they’ll become part of.
